Destinations: Chennai, Tirupathi, Kanchipuram, Mamallapuram, Pondicherry, Chidambaram, Tanjore, Trichy, Madurai, Rameshwaram.

Day 01: Arrive Chennai by flight (Kindly advice)

Arrive Chennai airport. After clearing your custom & immigrations you shall be met by our representative outside the exit gate of the arrival hall. After meeting/assistance at the airport transfer to hotel. Rest of the day/night at leisure to overcome jet-leg of the long flight & to recuperate to our weather conditions. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 02: Chennai/ Tirupathi (155 kms)

Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by city tour of Chennai – The Capital city of Tamilnadu and the main centre of this region, visiting Gandhi Memorial, Fort St. George, Kapaleshwar temple, Parthasarthy Temple, Mylapore temple Pantheon Museum & Art Gallery Marine beach. After noon transfer to Thirupathi Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 03: Thirupathi/Kanchipuram

Morning breakfast at hotel and proceed to Tirupathi – The Lord of seven hills. Tirupathi is a temple town known for the famous ancient temple of Lord Venkateswara Bala Ji. This Shrine is richest shrine in country. Traditionally the pilgrims get their hair shaved. The Image of Bala Ji has the attributes of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, The temple with its soaring Gopurams and glided Vimna, is fine example of Dravidian architecture. Afternoon Pooja & Darshan at the temple transfer to Kanchipuram rest for few hrs and visit – the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a golden city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines is one of the seven most sacred cities of India. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks. Visit its famous temples, Kailashnath temple, Ekambareshwaram temple, Sri Kamakshi temple etc Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 04: Kanchipuram/Mamallapuram/Pondicherry (240kms)

Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Pondicherry En route to Mamallapuram (Mahabalipurm) visit the city – built in 7th century, earlier called Mahabalipuram, this ancient Pallava port, is today the sight of several antique sculptural marvels. In this ancient seaside town, shrines and huge sculptures cut-out of rocks more than 1200 years back during the reign of Pallava Kings in the region can be seen. At the mouth of the river Palar, on large granite hall about 1 km in length from north to south is the site of many monuments, like The Descent of Ganges also known as Arjuna’s Penance, this open air sculpture showing the descent of the holy river, Krishna Mandap (Lord Krishna lifting the Mount Goverdhan), The Rathas (dedicated the five Pandavas, showing fine chariots) and the Shore temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. (This all are the World heritage sites). After noon transfer to Pondicherry Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 05: Pondicherry/Chidambaram/Thanjavur (170 kms)


Morning breakfast and make a city tour of Pondicherry visit Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo’s ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter also visit to Manakula Vinayagar. Afternoon drive to Thanjavur. Enroute visit Chidambaram – also called as Thillai, which has the famous Nataraja temple with the root of the sanctum-sanctorum covered with golden plates is located in the centre of the town covering an area of 40 acres. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 06: Tanjore/Trichy Morning breakfast and make visiting Brihadeeshwara Temple, 16th century Shivganga Fort, Palace museum and driver to Trichy short name of Trichurapalli, situated on the banks of Kaveri River is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim centre, visit it is famous for Ranganath temple and Jambukeshwar Temple at Srirangam and Rock fort and its temple at a height of over 23mts. Overnight stay at hotel


Day 7: Trichy / Madurai (195 kms)

After breakfast transfer to Maduri check in to hotel rest for few hrs and make a city tour of Madurai’s history goes back to six centuries before Christ. The Pandyan rulers made this their capital until the 14th Century and the city flowered with the genius of its writers, builders, poets and academics. Then the Nayaks ruled Madurai from the middle of the 16th Century to 1743. The ten tall Gopurams of the Meenakshi Temple were raised during their dynasty. Visiting – Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala’s Palace, Great tank and Gandhi museum.. Overnight stay at hotel


Day 08: Madurai/Rameshwaram/Madurai (155 kms One Way)

Morning breakfast at hotel and excursion to Rameshwaram – the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. This island site where Lord Rama erected Lingam. It is a great pilgrimage centre. Visit the most important temples Ramanth swamy temple and Koithanda Swamy temple both dedicated to Rama. Thereafter back to Madurai. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 09: Madurai (Kindly advice)

Morning breakfast at hotel. In time meeting/assistance at hotel and transfer to airport to board your return flight for onward destination.
